From the 12th of April to the 30th of April 1943, the United States forces in the Aleutian island chain attacked the Japanese that were occupying the islands of Kiska and Attu. P-40's, P-38's, B-25's and B-24's all participated in the attacks. The Japanese hastily defended the islands they had taken. In this snapshot, we will re-create an attack by the American forces on Japanese bases and ports on the island of Kiska.

Eleventh Air Force:
40% B-25C's (glass nose, formations)
30% P-38G's
30% P-40E's
Orders:
Launch from A48 and attack installations on Kiska Island (sectors 5,8 and 6,8). Targets are the airfield (A52) and port (P75).
Restrictions:
-Cannot go North of the horizontal "10" line.
-Target must be hit T+50.
-P-38G's may or may not bring bombs (C.O.'s choice).
-P-40E's cannot bring bombs.
-Max altitude of 13k for bombers.
-Max altitude of 15k for fighters UNTIL contact with enemy has been made (VISUAL ICON RANGE).
IJA/IJN:

50% A6M3 Model 32
Restrictions:
-Cannot go East of the vertical "7" line.
-Max altitude of 15K UNTIL contact with the enemy has been made (VISUAL ICON RANGE).
- Downed axis pilots may gun the AAA positions at A52 and P75.
Scoring:
15 points per B-25C destroyed.
10 points per A6M3, Ki-61, P-40E and P-38G's destroyed.
20 points per hanger destroyed.
5 points per Radar
5 points per Fuel, Ordinance Bunker, and Barracks destroyed.
2 points per town building destroyed.
1 point per AAA emplacement destroyed.

CM Notes:
-P49 should be made allied.
-CV groups 50, 51, and 77 should be jumped out of the area.
-Remind allies target has to be hit by T+50, and that downed allied pilots may gun for B-25C's.
-Probable no second frame for this.
Designer Notes:
-B-24's were used here historically, but I decided not to use them. It un-balances the set-up a little.
