On July 24/25 1943 German radar operators were puzzled when their radar screens were snowed out when the RAF attacked Hamburg at night. When confronted with the problem of window. The Luftwaffe replied with Wilde Sau (Wild Boar). Fw-190's and Bf-109's began flying Night operations with the Luftwaffe newest Nachtgeschwaderen, JG300, JG301 and JG302. Without radar to be jammed these pilots would follow radio instruction to their targets. On November 18/19 1943 started what was soon going to be called the Battle of Berlin when RAF Lancaster's and Mosquito's attacked in full force on the German capital.
