Clash of the Victor's 1947
Artist Credit: Redtail7
After the end of World War II tensions were high amongst the Allied Victor’s over Germany.
Soon a new Cold War would break-out between the Anglo-Americans and the Soviets.
General George S. Patton was quoted in a reply to the then Undersecretary of War
Robert P. Patterson, when asked what would he do with the Soviet situation. Patton stated
“I would tell the Red Army where their border is, and give them a limited time to get back
across. Warn them that if they do not do so, we will push them across.† This fictitious
SNAPSHOT signals the opening volleys in the attempt to turn the COLD war HOT.
