Stalin's Fourth '06
Historical Background
ORDER OF BATTLE
Â
Each unit consists of 10-12 players. The units have either fighter, attack (jabo) or bomber emphasis, even though every unit always has some fighters and tanks as well.
Â
Units:
FAF has
    - 2 fighter units (FAF1, FAF2)
    - 1 bomber unit (FAF3)
LW has:
    - 2 fighter/attack units (FAF4, FAF5)(in the first frame as FAF fighter units)
VVS has:
    - 4 fighter units (VVS01 - VVS04)
    - 4 attack units (VVS05 - VVS08)
    - 2 bomber units (VVS09 - VVS10)
Â
Home bases:
- The initial home air bases are marked below each unit's name in the table.
- The country CO:s can decide the initial home vehicle bases for each unit.
Â
Planes:
- Each unit has a certain number of plane slots in their resources. These slots can be filled with various planes and they represent the actual planes available for the unit in the current frame.
- The initial number of planes available is marked in "amount" column of frame 1.
- The additional planes received before frames 2, 3 and 4 are marked in their "amount" columns.
- New planes can be used for replacing the remaining rides and for filling the empty slots.
- In case the remaining and newly received planes do not fill all the slots, the planes in last column are used for the empty slots.
(Note: There will always be the same number of planes available to the unit in the beginning of each frame, even though the types may vary.)
Â
- Bomber drones are not counted as planes in any occasion. However, drones are allowed.
Â
- FAF4 and FAF5 cannot keep any of their remaining planes after frame 1
(See the special rule "Kuhlmey" in "Between the Frames" -section.)
Â
Tanks:
- The maximum available number of available tanks (Pnzr & T34) is not limited by initial slots. The surviving tanks from previous frame remain in the unit resources and the newly received tanks are added to the resources.
(Note: The amount of available tanks can become higher or lower than the initial amount.)
- The initial number of tanks available is marked in "amount" column of frame 1.
- The additional tanks received before frames 2, 3 and 4 are marked in their "amount" columns.
- LVT-4:s (available at certain waterfront bases) act as substitutes for tanks to enable water crossing! Their usage and losses are counted from tank resources!
Â
Unlimited rides:
- Each unit has unlimited resources of M-3 and LVT-2 (both for troops only) and C-47 (for supplies only).
- The unlimited rides are not marked in the resource table and their usage does not have to be counted.
- All gunner positions in air and in ground are also unlimited.
Â
Â
Â
About the table:
- The grey amounts indicate smaller reinforcements than the original resource!
- The bolded amounts and types indicate new ride types!
