1. Take off NE

(There is an altitude restriction throughout the entire field area)

2. Make an immediate right around the field Radar Tower,
followed by an immediate left around the field Water Tower

3. Continue Northeast to the northern shore battery

4. Turn right (uphill) around the Northern Shore Battery.

5. After clearing the hill, head Southwest for, and fly through,

the field's grass bomber hanger.

6. Continue Southwest to the town.

(this is the end of the first half of the lap; "Front Nine")

7. At the Town (Altitude restriction throughout Town area), stay to the right as you make a left around both Radar Towers AND the Water Tower, coming back through the Gate between the Water Tower to your left and the first Radar Tower to your right.

8. Reverse into a right hand turn around the first Radar Tower and then between the Gate between the first Radar Tower and the second Radar Tower.

9. Continue up the hill to make a right turn around the southern Shore Battery.

10. Head back to the Field (not the Town).

(this completes the end of the second half of the lap; "Back Nine")

11. Pick up the course by making a right turn around the field Radar Tower and then left around the field Water Tower (which brings you back into the beginning of the course).  Remember that there is an altitude restriction throughout the field area so make sure you are at ground level as you approach the field.

12. Repeat steps 3 through 11 until 2 and 1/2 laps are completed.  When you have passed through the Field Bomber Hangar the third time, that is the finish line.

NOTE:

Regarding the C47 - The wingspan of the C47 is wide enough to violate all altitude restrictions while in a banked attitude.  It will be acceptable to be in violation of the strict altitude requirements as long as the CM or Marshall or Turn Watcher does not believe that your altitude is in violation of the spirit of the turn marker or altitude restriction.  Generally, if you are regaining speed in exchange of altitude following a turn marker, you are in violation.

Also, the C47 is very large and pretty difficult to get through the Bomber Hangar.  As a reminder, it is acceptable to perform a "360" penalty in place of flying through the Bomber Hangar on all attempts except the very last one (the finish line).
