The Push From Leyte 1944

b24

By November of 1944, Leyte was under Allied control and they continued to push out toward other islands. The Allies had control over most of the Island of Panay, but they continued to bombard the northern area of it before taking control of it in mid December. This allowed their attention to be turned to Mindoro, and soon after in January of 1945, Marinduque and southern Luzon.

This FSO aims to re-create the movement of Allied forces throughout the Philippines in late 1944 and early 1945, including various land and shipping targets throughout the course of the moving frontline event.
