Example1

Here is an excellent example by Agent360 of some orders that provided all the necessary information, but are not a wall of text and individual strat maps. He listed for each squad their commitment in numbers, field to roll from, target, and what AC they are to ride. Loadout was often the C.O.?s choice with some recommendations. These orders are a perfect example of satisfying the CiC requirements, but without spending 6 or 8 hours on them as many of us don't have that kind of time.

*When possible orders and graphics were displayed exactly as given.

1943: Operation Husky

Frame 3 Axis Objectives

June 19th, 2009

Start Frame: 11 pm EDT

End Frame: 1 am EDT

Address to the troops:

I drew straws for the squads who will be in JU88?s and GV's. The squads that where in these rides for the last frame and the first frame were excluded.

I have planned a rather strait forward attack and defense. Nothing fancy. I am counting on your skill and aggression to win.

If I have made any mistakes please contact me as soon as possible. I will be in the SE 1 Arena 1 hour early.

Good luck

Agent360

Recommend you up TIGERS and at least 2 sets of troops.

PLEASE read the rules about the GV battle in the attached doc. There is a max of 27 total GV's allowed.

I had 'Tec' do a short write up for the GV battle. However it is up to the commander to choose how he will fight this battle. These are only recommendations.

From Tec to the troops:

M8's are totally pointless so if we don't have to have them, don't have anyone take them.  Full on rush to the base, the first 4 guys spread out knock out the closest ack to them and post up in the trees and cover the base while another 4 to 6 guys make a dash across the base killing the far side ack and posting up in the maproom trees and inside hangars, bunkers whatever...  Get a 251 in with troops asap and get ownership of the base.  Once everyone has made their way onto the field have the initial 4 guys flank around the south side of the base.  There is a small rise just south of the base and the terrain is rather open so hopefully they can get a good view and do some long range plinking.  You are gonna want at LEAST one backup 251 with troops, and a couple with supplies would be a very nice thing as well.

The M4 ( Tec said m4 here but we don't have m4's. We have m8's.commander choice) is IMO a bit better than a Tiger on a close in engagement, and camos very well with the terrain.  Using all available cover including the hangars, bunkers, and the tank bunkers that you can park in is going to be key.  Guys just sitting out on the middle of the base are not going to last long.  The key here is getting set up on the field in good defensive positions so that we can be making first shot kills on them as they emerge from cover, and hopefully the guys on the ridgeline have a good view of the terrain.
