2019 Winners and Rabbits
January-
KOTH A
Well it's 10 degrees out with a foot of snow. Post KOTH results or go outside and shovel the driveway? Time to post KOTH results :)
Over all it was a very good KOTH, once the host figured out how many settings were completely wrong. Deja vu in a worst case scenario.
Quit your blabbering fuzeman and get on with it!!!
January A KOTH was the longest we've had in a while running just over two hours with 16 people flying at most. Wabbit status was wacky! We'd fly two rounds and get a wabbit, fly another two and get another one and so on until one reigned supreme. Congratulations and <S> to SirLoin for his first KOTH win! The P-47D11 was chosen for February's first ride. There were three wabbits going for the win in the final seventh round. We also had a few new KOTH players who seemed to enjoy the event so spread the word.

1) CAKEBOSS in a P-40N

August-
KOTH A-
August KOTH was held with just over the minmum required to run it but the atmosphere was better than usual IMO. I did throw a big french-fry into Squirter's night which resulted in bad karma for the night, IMO also. Sorry about that. I started it a bit late and it ended just before 11 pm so it was close to two hours long with seven rounds. It ended with a rare KOTH plane and next months will start with it, the Tu-2S. Over the evening we had seven people flying and three wabbits who all made it to 'last three' in round seven so it was a wabbit fight. The wabbit with the biggest teeth turned out to be BlakDeth. Congratulations and {S} BlakDeth for the win and you chose the Tu-2S for next months first ride.
My french fry moment was end of round 1 when I assumed last two as last one and called Squirter the winner. After I called 'auger and pick a ride' Eagler was still flying. DOH!!!! Those two rolled and dueled for the win. Squirter I hope I didn't turn you off to the event.
Round by round results:
1} Eagler in a Yak-3
2} TC in a Bf 109F-4

December-
KOTH A-
Last KOTH A of 2019 was a pretty good event with 9 folks flying and we cracked the 2 hour mark by 15 minutes. Have not done that in quite a while from what I remember.
14 December was Monkey day and we considered having monkeys instead of wabbits but the paperwork was too involved. Good feed back on last months results so lets keep it going with pictures. We flew 9 rounds and had 3 wabbits although the initial one had to leave.

Tournament Of Champions-
Certainly not news but it is now Oh-ficial
Another grand Tournament Of Champions filled with great fights closed out the 2019 KOTH season and hopefully bringing you a bigger slice of what KOTH feels like with this year's film results, well.. most of them as I missed one round.
This years TOC ran for an hour and fourty-five minutes with seven invitees, about twenty seven percent, of the total invited. We had seven rounds and two wabbits, with last year's winner being one of them. It seems even in the TOC folks need to be reminded about hunting that wabbit!!
-{S}- and Congratulations to ULDutchV for winning the 2019 King Of The Hill Tournament Of Champions. The Bf 110G-2 was chosen for the 2020 TOC round 1 plane.
